streetlight fancy… this shoot explores
some of the darker recesses of the
human sexual psyche. They say the brain
is the largest erogenous zone, they say
that sex is a power construct… they say
that there’s nowt as queer as folk. They
say a lot of things.
Justice Potter Stuart famously commented
about obscenity: ‘I know it when I see
it.’ But these images are less about
flesh and physics and more about the
constructed nature of attraction and
the weirdness of relationships. Everything
people do in bed could be seen as
damn odd from someone’s point of view,

As Oliver Wendell Holmes less famously
(and fictitiously) commented, obscenity
is ‘that which gives you wood.’ Do these
shots give you wood? And if they do,
should you be worried? Kenny Powers tells
us that ‘it’s no mystery that ass has always
been tits’ greatest enemy’, but I’m running
out of pithy quotes about sex and will let
my ex have the floor: ‘I think you’re doing
it wrong.’
