Photographer Rebecca Handler’s latest series, The Couples,
portrays historic ‘duos’ set in contemporary times. Each of
them is depicted in a cinematic scene, contrasting the
lifestyle they are famed for having. The curtain has been
dropped as Handler reveals the very probable situations
these couples would face today. According to her, ‘It’s a
fun juxtaposition of what is and what appears to be.’
