In no time they performed the ritual. After that, using Sarah’s ring, the woman opened the portal and after saying their goodbyes the girls stepped through it. Shortly after, the girls found themselves lying down on the grass, the sun high up, and the sky clear of any clouds. They got up and looked around. Lisa and Monica instantly recognized the place. It was a small playground near their house. They just had to walk a few blocks to get to Lisa’s house. Monica said goodbye to the two girls and started to walk to her own house which wasn’t very far either. The two girls looked at each other, smiled and stepped through the door.
They found their parents and grandmother in the living room. They all looked tired, as if they didn’t sleep for days. The first one to notice them was their mother. She yelled out of happiness and ran towards Lisa and enveloped her into a warm hug. The others soon came too, to greet Lisa. And of course they noticed little Sarah and they all were blissful to see her again. Later Lisa and Sarah filled them in on their adventures and told them everything what had happened. They didn’t believe anything at that moment, because the most important thing was that they finally had their daughters back.
