Having thought for a while, the couple decided they wanted to adopt the two children. They wanted to provide them with the loving family and home they were robbed of. At first, of course, the children were quite distant, cold, haunted by the memories. However, after some time they got used to the love they received from their new loving parents and started forgetting about the pain they suffered on that horrible night.
