restaurant reviewed

On the first morning of a family ski trip to Loon Mountain in Lincoln , NH we did a quick online search for breakfast restaurants and Flapjacks was in a well deserved spot at the top of the list .

They were packed to the gills when we arrived and with good reason , the food was amazing . The décor is a cozy and classic mountain style with lots of natural wood features , a fire and my toddler ’ s favorite , a working miniature train that traveled the perimeter of the restaurant .
Their menu included a variety of buttermilk and specialty flapjacks , Texas toast and an array of egg focused platters . We chose the “ Hooterville ”, a breakfast sandwich using sausage infused flapjacks instead of bread , egg , cheese and hollandaise sauce and the “ Hungry Cub ”, which included a little bit of everything . Both were amazing , but the Hooterville took top prize . The wait can be long , especially if you have a large party , but we are definitely returning here on our next visit to the White Mountains . www . flapjacks . biz
