A fter the loss in W yoming I got a job at D onner S ki R anch and spent
the summer there . M y daily routine was work , ride , train . E very day . I
also read a couple of books on mental imaging and found it helped my
riding .
T he final 3 rounds of the series were held on consecutive days in the
P acific N orthwest . I felt strong both physically and mentally and felt
really solid on the bike . I won the first day – the start of a sixteen
straight win streak . M y win on the second day clinched my first of three consecutive
championships . I had finally figured out my personal winning formula .
