TOTH RETURNS
Josh Toth, who
missed the first three
rounds due to a leg injury
sustained just before
the season started,
returned to action at
Aonia Pass. Following
six weeks of rehabilitation,
Toth looked solid
en route to a seventh
overall finish.
How’s the leg?
Great. It’s feeling good.
I don’t really have any
discomfort or anything.
It’s healed up really good.
As soon as I got back on
the bike it surprised me
how well it felt.
So that rod is still
bent in there, right?
Yeah. Got a little bit of bent leg. My right foot will be out farther ahead of my
left, I guess in theory. The x-ray looks pretty bad, but you can’t tell looking at my
leg.
How long have you been back on a motorcycle?
Probably two, three weeks. I’ve been riding a lot. Like I said, as soon as I got on
it, I didn’t feel like I missed anything, really.
With the lockdown, you haven’t really missed any racing.
Yeah. I really lucked out on that side of things. I know a lot of people did, but
definitely me without missing so many races I can maybe be in the contention
