mobile internet beside their tracks when they are working. That’s exciting for us.
“My background is in technology – I trained as an electronic engineer – and
I have always had a keen interest. I have always invested in technology within
the business – I don’t ever want to see someone banging the side of their computer
or running software that is three years out of date. Efficiencies in life come
through technology so I have always totally embraced that.”
By refusing to rest on his laurels and always looking for fresh, exciting opportunities,
Jake’s business never stands still and is constantly evolving.
“It may not always make great commercial sense, but I have got no desire to
keep delivering the same thing for twenty years. Once you know what you are
doing you can keep rolling the same thing out, reduce your costs and make good
levels of profit, but personally that doesn’t motivate me unfortunately.
