Bridge construction along Stotfold Road (then A507) looking west. On the right the earth has been built up to connect
to the bridge. On the left are the Post Office and Forster’s Nursery signs by the bay window. Paraffin lamps are used to
highlight the construction work on the road. The fiver bar gate on the left was still there in 2004. Photo date late 1967.
