3 of our girls have just taken part in the World International cup in Croatia for Baton Twirling . Although the girls have competed internationally before , it was the first time at this level . They competed against 946 of the best athletes in the world from Japan , America and Canada and 15 other countries .
Victoria Salisbury , 17 , Mila Crook , 16 and Amber Maving , 14 represented England in a total of 4 events . All 3 were in the group event taking 17th Place , Mila and Victoria were in Team taking 19th Place and Mila and Victoria were in the Pair event taking 33rd place . The highest placed individual for us , was Mila from Arlesey , in the Artistic Twirl event winning 17th place overall .
These girls have worked very hard for these competitions and are dedicated to their sport . We would like to thank everyone who attended our Bingo Fundraising evening and local companies who supplied Raffle prizes or donated towards our girls and their trip .
After a Region competition at the end of September the girls start work on new routines for 2018 and hopefully qualifying for Eurocup in Dublin next July .
