So mixing a similar recipe along with picking Blackberries and Raspberries we could make quite a varied selection of tipples ready around Christmas time. Veg is another product of the seasons and its nice to be able to eat the fresh produce grown in your own garden when its just been harvested and cooked. Runner Beans, Potatoes, Courgettes are amongst the many pieces veg, with ‘fruits’ like Cucumbers and Tomatoes being grown in our garden. It does give a sense of satisfaction and not difficult to achieve, and yes Cucumbers and Tomatoes are technically fruits. Above our dog Freddie does like to get in on the act. I was photographing this Sunflower head last year and he wanted to get in on the picture.. If you have any images of unusual or rare visitors to your garden please send in a copy and we will publish them on these pages. www.facebook.com/groups/onthebutton/ | #infoonthebutton | on the button issue 60 August 2017 13
