Cemetery Report
The Town Council have issued the report from a recent survey of the
cemetery site. It refers to the cemetery itself and the parcel of land to the
west – the cemetery extension, for future use.
It describes the flooding problem and offers some choices as to some
remedial work. The options are: Dewatering (draining the land of excess
water), Raising the Ground Levels, installing Burial Chambers or
Developing a New Site. All of these options are costly remedies to the
problem, but are necessary to keep the cemetery open. The full report can
