The theme of the pictures for this month is businesses in the Village . We ’ ve shown some of the various shops that have come and gone over the years plus the office block that was built by Biggs Wall and is now the home of various office based companies .
We are getting several local groups signing up for the ARLESEY ARCHIVE GROUP exhibition on Saturday October 22nd in the Village Hall starting at noon and running until 3.00 p . m , so put the date in your diary and come down and have a look . The exhibition intends to bring together the various community groups from the Village giving people a chance to see about the history of Arlesey all together in one place . We still have places available so If you have artefacts , memorabilia or pictures that you think local people would be interested in please get in touch .

The recent meeting on July 26th was held in the Vicars Inn . Please contact the group for information on the next meeting and how you can come and join us .
