Ed: Yes! And because our level of
business isn’t intense, as long as
there is someone at the bridge
we can make it work. We work
well together one of us is more
flamboyant, and I think things
through.
Richard: Yes I suppose I did used to
do fire eating and I once went out
to buy a piano and came back with
a Caterpillar tractor. I bought a barn
once too for the timber.
Ed: Oh we’ve had so many things
that are not piano related come
back in that van….

Ed: and lets not forget the van as well..
Richard: There are not many companies that would rely on a 20 year
old van out there!
You seem to have a lovely working relationship and lust for life
here, how does that work?
Richard: This business is a life support mechanism. We love it and it
enables us to pursue other interests. We are partners and at one point
I wrote a constitution, it stated that we must do things that we want.
Like if Ed wants to go on tour with the band, then he must as long as it
doesn’t endanger the life support system.
Ed: it hasn’t extended to that so far though! But I have been able to
leave an hour or two early sometimes.
Richard: We each have to be able to live our lives doing what we want
to do, sometimes I do a street market, Spitalfields on a Thursday and
I’m allowed to do that aren’t I?

Arlesey Town Football Club is a members owned, volunteer run
football club based in Arlesey, Bedfordshire. Founded in 1891, its senior
team plays in the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central
which is at Steps 4 of the National League System.

Jodie Chillery is a television producer who has filmed in places
that vary from the Himalayas to fishing trawlers in the English
Channel for the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, C5 and most of the others!
Jodie started Minty films and produces intimate heartfelt short
films for communities, individuals, charities, artists, start ups, small
businesses & social enterprises. The films tell powerful, engaging
stories that need to be told whether that be for promotional
purposes, raising awareness or for fundraising.

Treasurer Needed
The Club is actively seeking a Treasurer to take control of the financial
aspects of the club and be an active member of the committee. The
role would be on a volunteer basis only but would provide a unique
insight into how a football club works and allow you to take pride in it’s
success ! If you are interested in football and would like to be involved
