Archive Group
As we told you last month the theme for July once again is School
pictures. Here are a few more from our archive; do you recognise
anyone in them? Maybe it’s you, your parents or your grandparents?
Another reminder that the ARLESEY ARCHIVE GROUP exhibition
date has been set for Saturday October 22nd in the Village Hall
starting at noon and running until 3.00 p.m. Put the date in your diary.
The exhibition will bring together the various community groups from
the Village giving people a chance to see about the history of Arlesey
all together in one place. If you have artifacts, memrobilia or pictures
that you think local people would be interested in please get in touch.
Once again we would ask you to get involved with the Archive
group, simply contact Janet at the Council offices, 01462 733722, or the
chair of the group, Jim Randall on 01462 733169, we’ll be happy to have
you along to one of our quarterly meetings. We’ve changed the time
of the meetings to 7.00 p.m., hopefully this will be better for some of
you. The next meeting is July 26th in the town hall.
Maybe you know someone in one of these pictures?
