Archive Group
In the April issue of on the button we told you that the ARLESEY
ARCHIVE GROUP was planning an exhibition sometime in the
Autumn. The date has been set now, and it’s going to be on Saturday
October 22nd in the Village Hall starting at noon and running until
3.00 p.m. Put the date in your diary.
The exhibition will bring together the various community groups
from the Village giving people a chance to see about the history of
Arlesey all together in one place. If you have artifacts, memorabilia
or pictures that you think local people would be interested in please
get in touch.
If you would like to get involved with the Archive group, simply
contact Janet at the Council offices, 01462 733722, or the chair of the
group, Jim Randall on 01462 733169, we’ll be happy to have you along
to one of our quarterly meetings. We’ve changed the time of the
meetings to 7.00 p.m., hopefully this will be better for some of you.
The next meeting is July 26th in the town hall.
The theme over the next couple of months is ‘Schools’ as we seem
to have lots of pictures of the various classes at the local schools
over the years.
Maybe you know someone in one of these pictures?
