‘relief road’ approved
Finally Central Bedfordshire Council approved the application for the eastern
section of the new road for the future development. This is despite Arlesey
Town Council speaking and submitting a multi-page document requesting
CBC look at the application and implications to the High Street if the section
of the road were connected before the whole ‘relief road’ was finalised.
Arlesey Residents Association also spoke at the meeting urging CBC to
approve the application and finally start on the development – giving a mixed
message from the village.
