This month the car parking proposals for the north end of Arlesey are
to be considered at CBC’s Traffic Management Committee meeting
at 10am on Tuesday 15th March, with implementation of the scheme
anticipated for the financial year 2016/17.
ATC members will be speaking at the meeting to represent
residents’ views and residents are of course also encouraged to
attend and speak. Any speakers who wish to attend need to register,

In other parking related news, there have been a number of
complaints about vehicles parking on the pavements causing
obstructions to pedestrians. ATC have contacted the Police and we’ve
been advised that where an obstruction to pedestrians is caused the
offender should be reported to the Police by telephoning 101.
Dependant on current operational demands and the severity of the
obstruction a police officer may be despatched to deal with the issue. In
the event that an officer is unable to attend they will write to the offender
to draw their attention to the need to park more considerately in future.
