So far this year we have had some unusual weather. Some very hot days
and weeks have interspersed the wind, rain and generally unseasonal
conditions. Despite this there have been so many things going on and
people making the most of the best weather. I have seen lots of people
walking, jogging and cycling and this makes me think there is the need to
keep as much of the environment we enjoy, and to enhance it.
I myself have been involved a few things in the community and
photographed what I can. Reporting these images in the magazine.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing them.
There are many ways you can get involved and use the amenities all
around you, even if it is just the footpaths – which if not used then they
will disappear. This leads me into talking about the Neighbourhood Plan,
its something I personally regard as the most important thing we need to
get established for the community. See page 6.
September looks to be busy too, so please if you have any stories,
events or photographs you would like to share, please do send them in
and I will get in as many as possible.
