Flu Vaccination
for those aged 65 or over
Anyone aged 65 or over by the end of March 2016, is entitled to a free
vaccination to protect against flu.
It is important that you take advantage of this offer, because not only is an
attack of flu very unpleasant, it can also give rise to serious complications,
particularly as you get older. The vaccination is safe, effective, does not give
you flu and provides the best protection against flu. This year we are holding
mass-vaccination clinics on the following Saturdays: 26/9/15, 3/10/15,
10/10/15, 24/10/15 & 7/11/15, between the hours of 8.10am-11.50am by
appointment only. Please contact the surgery to book your appointment
(unfortunately these appointments cannot be made online). If you need to
cancel this appointment, please do so during our normal working hours.
We anticipate the car park to be very busy on these days, so, if you can,
please either walk, or be dropped off, to attend your appointment.
If you are in a clinical “at-risk” group and you or any member of your
family, regardless of age, would like a flu vaccination, please contact the
surgery for an appointment.
