Welcome to the 35th issue of on the button. Up till now the circulation,
along with the whole of Arlesey, has been mostly to shops, pubs,
business and libraries in the area, but this month we are delivering to
Fairfield Park too. So I would like to say ‘hello’ to the residents of the
development. I hope you like the magazine and along with the our normal
circulation please send me news, information and pictures of life around
you. It can be anything from school events, council news, cricket scores,
or a some history of the area.
Our previous feature on the former Three Counties hospital has been
so popular and read by so many people, I have created a leaflet from the
five parts. This will have been given away at the 155 year celebration last
month. This will also be delivered to Fairfield Park residents along with
the latest magazine.
If you are into photography please send me some images and I will
endeavour to add them in – I’m always looking for images to use on
the cover.
Similarly if you are a business and would like to cover around 4200
addresses locally then please contact us via phone or email to advertise
in future issues.
The Arlesey Remembers You project also gets more coverage this
month as Jodie Chillery is awarded Central Bedfordshire’s Volunteer of
the Year for her work on the project. See page 12.
This month I thought I would share some aerial photos taken recently
around the area. See pages 8 to 11.
