In no time at all we were heading back to the airfield. As we descended
towards the grass air strip I remember thinking ‘this could be bumpy’, but it
wasn’t. It was very smooth and as we slowed along the airfield towards the
hanger the crows and a couple of Hares evacuated the runway in front of us.
I can honestly say it was a great experience and well worth doing. Viewing
somewhere you recognise while on the ground, can be totally different from
an aircraft.
I got home and went to view the images on computer (almost 250 of them).
I was so pleased with the results I decided to put some here in the magazine.
I hope you like them too.
Two weeks after my first flight I did it again and with an 8.00am flight on a
cloudless Sunday morning I took around 450 more. I think I’m hooked.
