Steam Returns
After an absence of over 40 years a steam train stops at Arlesey station
and picks up fare-paying passengers.
The Mayflower a Class B1 61306 arrived at Arlesey station about
9.40am on the 12 March 2015. It stopped to pick up passengers on route
from London Kings Cross to York.
The engine and 11 coaches returned the day-trippers later that evening
on its way back from York to the capital.
