Blues in the FA Cup! November issue A rlesey Town Football Club have made it through to the FA Cup First Round for the second time in two seasons. Town are drawn away to Coventry City on the 3rd of November. Last season the club got to this stage for the first time in their history. On Saturday 20th October Arlesey Town played away at Didcot Town winning 1-0 in the 4th qualifying round. This is an incredible acheivement for our local football club. It shows the hard work on the pitch and behind the scenes is paying off. Well done Arlesey Town! T he weather is gradually cooling, the trees are shedding their leaves and we now start the run-up to Christmas. However there is still many things going on in November. Arlesey play in their second FA Cup first round draw in two years, Fireworks will be going off all over the village around the first weekend, and the Town Council are being asked to look at stepping down for an election. That’s all in the first week. Hopefully this month we have covered as many of the events as possible in this issue of on the button.
