Centre Patients
Did you know there is a Patient Participation Group (PPG) at Arlesey
Medical Centre?
We meet quarterly to discuss the services on offer at the medical centre,
and how improvements can be made for the benefit of the patients and the
practice. We can advise the practice of how things are run from a patient’s
perspective and can better inform our friends and neighbours of healthcare
relevant issues in the wider community.
WE are looking to expand the PPG at Arlesey Medical Centre, if you
would be interested in joining us, please contact me by e-mail: enzoward@
yahoo.co.uk or leave your contact details with Richard, at the surgery. The
date of the next meeting is Monday February 9th 2015.
Dr Attias Retirement
After 11 years unbroken service Dr Mike Attias has finally hung up his
stethoscope to pursue other interests. In his place, Dr Mehar Singh joined
us at the beginning of December from a surgery in Leighton Buzzard,
although he lives locally in Hitchin. We have also secured the services of an
experienced female GP who will work with us two days a week starting in
February.
The PPG are organising a coffee morning to recognise all the hard work
Dr Attias has put into the surgery in his 11 years with us. This event is open
to all patients and will be at the W.I. Hall, Arlesey on Saturday January
17th 2015 at 10.30am. Please feel free to come down and say your
goodbyes to Dr
