s vice chairman of the Arlesey/Stotfold
branch I would like to thank everyone who
attended the Arlesey service at the war memorial
on Sunday 9th November
It was a splendid turnout and the collection
surpassed all other years with the amount of (£430.00 your contributions
help so many ex service and serving men and woman it is very much
appreciated without your help the legion would be unable to continue its vital
welfare and benevolent work

Our sincere thanks to the following Our guest the Deputy Lord Lieutenant Geoffrey Farr MBE accompanied
by his wife Catherine who had kindly agreed to attend on behalf of hm lord
lieutenant of Bedfordshire they have since emailed us to comment on what a
lovely service/parade it was
The reverend Geoffrey Boult who has recently joined St Peter’s church
as vicar for Arlesey and Astwick who conducted the service the clerk
and staff of Arlesey town council we would also like to congratulate the
Arlesey Remembers You project team for their splendid work with the
commemoration of those named on the war memorial of world war one
