from the Vicar . . . Church Services The beginning of November is a time when we particularly remember the lives of those who have gone before us – All Saints is a commemoration of the Saints and Holy people of the past, and All Souls, that of all the departed, especially our own loved ones. This year, St Peter’s church will be open on Sunday 2nd November between 6.30 and 8.00pm for us to spend a little time giving thanks for the lives of our loved ones who have died. There will be some quiet reflective music being played, and everyone is welcome to come in and, if you wish, light a candle in memory of your loved ones. There won’t be an actual service, so you don’t have to worry about singing hymns and things! Just come in and spend a few moments in quiet reflection or prayer.
