3 counties social and sports club
I have recently been given an old book by a lady who has moved into a
house in Arlesey. She found the book in the loft, left behind by the previous
owner of the house. The book contains hand-written minutes and letters
from the Three Counties Social and Sports Club and dates from its inaugural
meeting in 1935 and continues until 1960.
So far I have only read some of the pages but already there are
revelations such as the misuse of equipment and missing money resulting
in resignations from the club. Below the copy is transcribed from the first
typewritten page in the book.
