A car park area and the water re-stocked with fish.
Phase 2 should take approximately 6-8 weeks depending on the weather,
would see more fishing swims, create a site path along the west side and
add a visitor area with picnic tables and shelter. After phase 2 it would be
feasible to pursue ‘country park’ status.

Not many people can say they have recorded some songs at Abbey Road
studios in London. Well one young woman from Arlesey has done just that.
Nicola Skipper is part of the Rock Choir from Hitchin that joined two other
rock Choirs at the famous London studios. Lottie Greenhow’s Rock Choir with branches in Milton Keynes, Hitchin and Bedford - put down some tracks
in the studios made famous by The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Queen.
Lottie took 207 members of The Rock Choir to the famous Abbey Road
Studios in London. They recorded three-part harmony arrangements of John
Farnham’s “You’re The Voice” and Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colours”, arranged
by Rock Choir’s founder, Caroline Redman Lusher.
Some members who came to Abbey Road had been in the choir for
less than 5 weeks. Milton Keynes Rock Choir recorded first, followed by a
combined session with Bedford and Hitchin.
