Well one young woman from Arlesey has done just that. Nicola Skipper is part of the Rock Choir from Hitchin that joined two other rock Choirs at the famous London studios. Lottie Greenhow’s Rock Choir with branches in Milton Keynes, Hitchin and Bedford - put down some tracks in the studios made famous by The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Queen. Lottie took 207 members of The Rock Choir to the famous Abbey Road Studios in London. They recorded three-part harmony arrangements of John Farnham’s “You’re The Voice” and Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colours”, arranged by Rock Choir’s founder, Caroline Redman Lusher. Some members who came to Abbey Road had been in the choir for less than 5 weeks. Milton Keynes Rock Choir recorded first, followed by a combined session with Bedford and Hitchin.
