Arlesey Methodist Church Services at the Methodist Church in March are as follows: Sunday 2nd March: Preacher at 10.30 a.m. Mr Ken Bamberough  of Hitchin Sunday 9th March: Preacher at 11.00 a.m. Rev Bob Forrest  (Church Minister) Sunday 16th March: Preacher at 10.30 a.m. Mr Peter Rogers  of Letchworth Sunday 23rd March: Preacher at 11.00 a.m. Rev Bob Forrest  (Holy Communion) Sunday 30th March: Preacher at 10.30 a.m.Rev Bob Forrest. This will  be a United Service with Stotfold and Baldock Methodist Churches. Rev Bob Forrest has produced a booklet of Lent Studies entitled ‘Parables of the Kingdom’. These are designed for home reading and will be considered at a series of meetings the dates, times and locations of which will be determined after discussions with everybody. Bob has also arranged a service of Holy Communion at 7.00 p.m. on Ash Wednesday, March 5th, at the Methodist Church. This will include St.Peter’s, Arlesey and Stotfold Methodist Churches. We have replaced the wigwam that was stolen last summer, when the heavens decide to stop the rain hopefully the sun will come out and the kids can enjoy it! I have recently been around the Old Moat nature reserve taking pictures and notice how much work is done to keep this area open for others to enjoy. Thank you Roger Watson and his group of volunteers in ACORN who work so hard on the areas around the town.
