Arlesey fun day

This year’s fun day on the ‘rec’ turned out to be a great day.
The weather once again threatened to spoil the day, but initial showers were blown
away and brighter skies took over. Some of the stalls moved indoors to the Village Hall
but most stayed on the field and braved the blustery wind. The arena was slow to fill up
at first but as soon as the sun showed itself, people were turning up in droves. Stalls
flanked the arena, while the compere announced the various events.
