from the editor W riting this I can’t believe that our 11th issue is going to press and we are nearly a year old. The website was two years old in June and that whizzed by un-noticed. But yes August will be our 12th issue. In the first year we have had some fantastic feedback and great comments about the articles. We were entertained by Ian Philip Wright who is the present head of Walter Wright - hat makers of Luton. He talked, in a knowledgeable and entertaining way about how hats are made with special reference to the local history of hats.
