TAKE FIVE

with Carousel Chief Client Officer Tim Hebert

My dreams of being a superhero began when I was 3-years-old . I donned an old Batman costume and ran around fighting the good fight . I slept in my cowl and cape . And I even attempted to jump off the third-floor balcony . Thankfully , my mother ’ s quick reflexes grabbed my cloak before something tragic happened .
But my dreams did not end there ; today , I still picture donning a cape , harnessing my innate ability to ward off evil to protect the innocent . I have all the characteristics needed to be an AWESOME superhero — high energy , strong belief system , a love of adventure and a devout admiration for the greatest superhero of all time … Wolverine .
Though I haven ’ t quite reached official superhero status , I ’ ve never lost sight of the characteristics needed to be the consummate superhero : tenacity , grit , passion , adventure … the list goes on . And while I can ’ t always ward off all the evil I come across , I have long derived energy from embracing the unexpected , overcoming the seemingly insurmountable and inching closer and closer to transformation . I ’ ve derived energy from remaining resilient .
Resiliency is successfully embracing the challenges and opportunities that come your way . It ’ s about being adaptable and agile , and finding a heightened level of inner strength and centeredness .
As we look at a New Year ahead , we will need to tap into our inner superheroes — finding that resiliency . There will be many occasions for growth as well as the inevitable obstacles that we will face . Perhaps you are grappling with convincing your business unit leaders to begin utilizing the full suite of Office 365 applications . Or maybe you ’ ve been presented with an opportunity to welcome several new team members , expand your responsibilities , take on a new project , or begin a new career . No matter your situation ; great change is ahead .
Inside our office walls , we are certainly no stranger to change as 2016 marked the start of a new chapter with regards to our corporate roadmap .
