Keenan says as he describes the importance of collaboration not only for the future of the profession , but for better patients outcomes . " Our chiropractic doctors need to be front and centre as the public starts to shift from the current medically based model of care to a more preventive and natural model .”
Working with the Government Relations committees of the OCA and the CCA , Dr . Keenan has advocated to elected officials on behalf of our profession numerous times . Often taking time from his busy practice , he has consulted with MPs on Parliament Hill as well as sitting MPPs for our provincial government discussing and confirming the benefit of our services to the public .
He has served as an instructor and lecturer for the Ottawa School Board creating courses for public education on various topics , and as a guest lecturer at the University of Ottawa School of Medicine . He also developed a local TV program on New Health Concepts .

Dr . Mohsen Kazemi ( CMCC , 1996 ) is a world champion and multiple gold medallist in Tae Kwon Do . He has served the profession and his sport well by providing expert-level care informed by an athlete ’ s experience .
Dr . Kazemi has travelled with Canadian and Ontario Tae Kwon Do teams as Team Doctor since 1998 , serving at the Olympics and Pan American Games several times , often using his vacation time to work at international
