system for chiropractors as the gatekeepers of clinical conditions associated
with C-Sens, such as myofascial

between central sensitization and
myofascial trigger points becomes
clearer and particularly as research and
clinical practice reveal more effective
interventions, chiropractors are wellpositioned to become the go-to resource
for patients suffering from this type of

hopes that this new paradigm will
galvanize the different philosophies
of chiropractic into one common
theme. From biomechanical science

sensitization may scientifically validate
the therapeutic benefits of SMT and
provide chiropractors an evidence-based
role in the health care system far beyond
