ON Chiropractic A mug of hot water is a must while working. Not only does it warm my cold hands, it’s a soothing drink during my work day. At my clinic a good, consistent pen is an office essential. The clear barrel BIC is the only reliable pen I’ve found; it makes my life easier when I’m spending hours writing on Cerpix cards. I definitely sound like a pen commercial, but I can’t help it. I can’t do without my Bullet Journal, as I’m old school when it comes to organizing my life. Although I love iCal for coordinating family schedules, my go-to planner is my Bullet Journal. It’s basically an agenda that also functions as my to-do list, sketchbook, notebook and diary all in one. I also use it for goal setting; as a chronic multi- tasker it keeps me on track.  Dr. Aliya Visram preventive medicine, something chiropractors are very familiar with. Familiar objects and soothing routines that enhance your mental health can have a positive impact on health outcomes for patients. And of course, caring for others successfully comes when we take time to be our Dr. Jenny Liu best selves! Starting my day watching the NBA Top 10! I don’t typically have time to watch a full basketball game so I try to catch the top highlights.
