FEATURE STORY / ASPIRE: MORE THAN A TOOL In health care, technology that can help practitioners make better decisions or provide them with more time to help patients has revolutionized many aspects of health care delivery. In the chiropractic profession there have been many technological advances over the years that have helped practitioners, from new diagnostic devices to software that allows you to manage patients more efficiently or take organized, effective notes. ASPIRE, the OCA's latest software offering, springs from our essential role in contributing to a chiropractor’s practice success. An association is a group of like-minded individuals organizing to achieve collective goals that are impossible to reach individually, and sophisticated technological development is certainly a goal that is difficult for any one person to tackle alone. In the past, the OCA has filled that gap by releasing two separate software products—PMP (Patient Management) and Chirowrite (Note Taking)—which have been adopted by a significant number of chiropractors in Ontario and beyond. Aspire is the evolution of that process. 20 FALL 2017
