etting started in community
engagement activities can be
daunting. Dr. David Dorion, who
has been practicing in Burlington since
2011, encourages his colleagues not to be
shy. “When I see an event going on in the
community I contact the organizer and
let them know I am interested in getting
involved,” Dr. Dorion said, admitting that
it took a while to get comfortable making
those calls.
