A Stranger’s Support By Andrea Fisher, Mobilization Department, One Mission Society Autumn Ament has never been out of the country. After high school, she didn’t feel called to go to college, so she stayed home. “I felt like I was idling,” Autumn said. Then, after a study based on the book Not a Fan, Autumn heard God ask, “Why don’t you follow me to Korea?” She began searching for opportunities but found most options required long commitments or skills she didn’t have. She had no idea what she could offer. After visiting the One Mission Society website, Autumn saw an opening to be a conversational English guide in South Korea for three weeks through Adventures in English, one of OMS’ Embark opportunities. She applied and was accepted. She just had to get there. “God has always, always provided,” Autumn shared. He has brought Autumn and her family through hard times, including her father’s heart attack. During a period of financial difficulty, her mom found a $50 bill in the box of shoes she was trying on. Autumn knew she could trust God with the money she needed to raise for the trip, but she still had ups and downs. When she shared with her church, she spoke too quickly and t
