The Adventures in English camp was held at Seoul
Theological University July 21–August 1. About 50
college students and adults and 25 teens attended this
Christian English camp to practice their English for
ministry and missions. Twelve short-termers
came from the United States and Australia
to interact and share Christ’s love, with the
theme, “Who Is My Neighbor?”
Malawi
Lydes gave her life to the Lord in November 2013 when OMS church planter Newto
introduced Christ to her. Prior to becoming a Christian, Lydes served as an adviser
to the council of chiefs in her village. After her conversion, the council of chiefs and
the chief himself summoned Lydes to renounce Jesus or face the consequences. She
did not give in to their threats. In fact, she remained steadfast and shared Jesus with
her husband Billy, who also gave his life to Jesus after seeing that his wife was not
harmed, despite the persecution and satanic attacks against her.
