The 16-story, 300-room Omni Frisco Hotel boasts plenty of nods to its collaboration with the Dallas Cowboys. The team’s headquarters (bottom photo) is located nearby. For example, we’re doing a smoked pork hash with chipotle aioli and caramelized peppers and a chur- ro-style French toast—French toast that’s been brûléed on top with cinnamon and sugar and topped with dulce de leche.” The Neighborhood Services bar also features four creative cocktails on tap, like a peach Moscow mule and red sangria. Throughout the property, the Omni team strived to incorporate the partnership with the Cowboys in a subtle way. This includes sprinkling Cowboys artifacts throughout the design of the space, some of which have been reimagined to fit the modern aesthetic of the hotel. Behind the concierge desk, for example, is a 12-foot- long triptych iconic image of notable Cowboys players. Artist Brandie Grogan transferred the image onto thou- sands of resin squares, which are mounted to the wall. “So, it’s a traditional photo from the Cowboys but done in a contemporary manner,” McKoy explains. In the rooms, guests can also find subtle nods to “America’s Team.” There is a small star embroidered on the corner of the bed throw and a glass rocks glass etched with a white star. “We took inspiration from the stitching on uniforms and footballs, which can be seen in the design of the desk chair and headboard,” McKoy adds. For fans wanting to take a little bit of history home with them, the Charlotte Jones Collection includes unique items that can’t be found elsewhere. For instance, guests can find PAIGE jeans with a Dallas wash; a cus- tom blue-and-silver jewelry collection by Kendra Scott that is only offered at the boutique; a blue-and-white shirt by Peter Millar with a hand-stitched Dallas Cowboys star on the cuff; and nail polishes in the team colors.
