We kicked off the Spring semester by gathering for the the new Jean Childs Young Intercultural Center Groundbreaking. On a chilly afternoon, we were joined by guests in anticipation for the $1.1 million project. The afternoon began with speeches from Jim Colon '64, retired Vice-President of Toyota Motor North America, President Dave, Delina Tewelde, and Michael Dixon. People huddled together in a tent anxiously awaiting for the shovels to be pushed into the ground. All sat in anticipation imagining through the words of the speakers, what amazing opportunities the new building would offer. . 8 r ea ers. y ar er................... . 9 r newest a iti n t t e ffi e. 1
