If you attend fundraisers in the
Oklahoma motorsickle community you
have seen Tim and Doris Lawson.
When Tim lost his dad he decided
he wanted to do something for the
veterans. That is how Hogs for Hunger
came about a few years ago.
Between me inadvertently omitting the
event from our weekly event video to
Facebook’s showing last year’s flyer,
and the misunderstanding the Run
wasn’t ending in Mannford this year,
caused a lower attendance than usual.
Although miscommunication caused
fewer bikes than usual, a lot of food
and money for food, was raised for
the Veterans. Don’t forget this event
next year. It is well worth your time and
money!
