SURVIVE SUMMER GUIDE

Free Activities

Go to the Park

Sandwell Valley Country Park – West Bromwich

Easy to spend a whole day – 3 different playground areas, take your towel and play at the splash pad, go feed the ducks, visit the lookout or learn to ride your bike down on the flat area by the farm. Why not visit the Sandwell Park Farm while you’re there.

Mary Stevens Park - Stourbrige

Recently rennovated this is a great play area, splash pad and keep an eye out for activities at the Hub.

Haden Hill Park – Haden Hill

Has an enclosed play area for under 8s at the top of the hill and a separate over 8th wooden adventure playground. The duck pond is enclosed to avoid little ones falling in and the house (when open) is lovely to look round too. Good café, lots of space to walk but quite steep in places

Cannon hill – Birmingham

Next to Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park it has 2 big un-enclosed pools so be sure to watch the children closely. Theres a small fairground next to the Midland Arts Centre Café and Theatre
