DPS Preschool operates on the same vacation, holiday,
teacher workshop and school closing policy as the Delano
Elementary school. Childcare is available for all preschool
participants on most non-school days.

Tiger Kids Club (Age 3 - Grade 6)
Working parents love the high quality, affordable childcare
offered by Tiger Kids Club (TKC), which is open from 6 a.m.
until 6 p.m. throughout the year, including summer and
a number of non-school days during the school year. TKC
serves children from age 3 to grade 6.
Tiger Kids Club offers homework help, supervised small-
and large-group games, field trips, enrichment clubs and
easy access to community education offerings. TKC also
provides breakfast and snacks as part of the tuition.
For children in DPS Preschool, Tiger Kids Club offers the
option of childcare before and/or after preschool classes.

Childhood screening covers the developmental areas of:
Cognition * Fine Motor* Gross Motor* Speech/Language *
Social/Emotional and Health developmental areas covering;
hearing, vision, height, weight and immunization record
checks. Parents are invited by the district to schedule a one
hour appointment for their child to participate in screening
when their child is 3 1/2 to 4 years of age. Any concerns can
be discussed and addressed quickly. For more information

Joyful Heart Preschool
Joyful Heart Preschool promotes the growth and
development of preschool children, ages 33 months to pre-
kindergarten.
The school provides a safe, enriching, and educational
experience in a loving Christian environment. Christian values
are integrated into the programs to enhance development
and positive self-esteem for all students.
Joyful Heart Preschool’s curriculum includes a reading
program designed to promote reading skills and foster a love
for lifelong reading.
Throughout the year, the children enjoy a variety of weekly

Mt. Olive Lutheran Preschool
Preschool curriculum is offered for 33 months-5-year-olds
at Mt. Olive Lutheran Preschool. Mt. Olive Lutheran Church,
a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod
(WELS), operates Mt. Olive Lutheran School, which has been
offering a Christian education to children for more than 60
years.
The staff of Mt. Olive is dedicated to providing excellent

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE)
Early Childhood Family Education offers engaging parent-
child classes, informative parent only events/classes and fun
family activities for parents/grandparents/caregivers and
their young children/grandchildren from birth to kindergarten
enrollment.
The mission of ECFE is to connect families to resources,
build relationships among community members, strengthen
families through education and support of healthy growth/
development of their children.
ECFE is the beginning and first link young families have

Screening
Do you have a child between the ages of 3 and 5 who is not
