Building permits, etc.
Building permits are required, and can be obtained
through the Wright County Planning and Zoning office, 10
Second Street NW, Buffalo, MN 55313, 763-682-7338.
The township road right-of-way is usually 66 feet (33 feet
from the center of the road). A good rule of thumb is to keep
everything back 15 feet from the edge of the road. To obtain
the required permit to work within the township right-of-way
or for additional information, call any board member, the
clerk, or deputy clerk.
Driveway/culvert permits are required. Call any board
member to get this permit before starting any work.
911 signs are required and cost $87 for the sign, post,
delivery and installation. Call any board member to order.
The township board also reminds residents of the Minnesota
state statute that prohibits pushing snow across township
roads.
