Grand and Reserve Champion Performance Horse***(nonpointed) *In Youth only shows, the stallion halter class shall not be offered: it may be replaced by a Showmanship or other recognized AMHA Youth class. **First and second place winners from the stallion, mare and gelding halter classes. ***Based on points earned, as per the AMHA rule book regarding horses actually competing, in offered performance classes. Additional classes, such as Youth and/or Amateur in Open shows, may be added at the discretion of the show manager, so long as such classes do not extend the show beyond the one-day time period. As per AMHA show rules, no horse shall be penalized if it is shown without clipping and/or balding. For the purpose of recording points, show managers “must” provide the AMHA office with accurate information on the age and height of all horses to ensure awarding AMHA points in the appropriate halter/performance classes. It is recommended this be accomplished by requiring the exhibitor to indicate on all entry forms those classes for which the horse qualifies for points as listed in the AMHA rule book. (Amended 02-11, effective 01-12) E. Amateur and/or Youth Shows: Shows applying for Amateur/ Youth Show approval may offer only Amateur and Youth classes. Only these classes will garner AMHA points. Qualifications for exhibitors would be the same as stated in AM-010 and YD-010. (See PA-030 D & PA-030 E for recognized point classes.) (Amended 11-23-02, effective 0103) G. Show must be open to all AMHA registered horses and owners who are in good standing. H. Entry fee must be specified and any class without an entry fee so stated. No change in entry fee will be permitted after approval has been granted. Violation may cause disqualification of the class. AMHA Office Fees must be noted on the entry form (see fee schedule for correct 87 SHOW RULES F.  Performance Only Shows: Such shows would offer performance classes only. A minimum of 20 AMHAapproved performance classes must be offered to qualify for AMHA show approval. Performance only shows must offer: 1. Open Single Pleasure Driving 32” & Under 2. Open Single Pleasure Driving Over 32” - 34” 3. Open Roadster 4. Open Obstacle Driving 5. Hunter 6. Jumper 7. Open Halter Obstacle 8. Liberty (if facility complies with CL -070A) 9.
