RULES & REGULATIONS lease is submitted without an ending date and AMHA receives a transfer of ownership to someone other than the lessee and AMHA is unable to locate the lessee for a signature to terminate the lease, the AMHA Executive Committee would decide if the lease should be terminated. (Amended 02—03, effective 01-04) (Amended 02-09, effective 01-10) 187A Recognition For show purposes only, multiple lessees will only be allowed if they are members of the same household. The lessee will be considered the owner of the horse for the period of the lease, for show purposes only. (Amended 6-12-04, effective 01-05) 187B Recordation Recording of Notice of Lease with the Association authorizes a lessee to execute all documents pertaining to the recognized activities of breeding or showing. Any limitation on use of the horse is solely the responsibility of the lessor. 187C Transfer of Ownership During the effective term of the lease, the Association will not record subsequent changes in ownership until the lease is terminated; and only the lessee (or authorized agent) is authorized to sign breeder’s certificate, stallion breeding reports or registration applications pertaining to the leased horse. 188 SYNDICATES/CORPORATIONS In order for a syndicate/corporation to be recognized by the Association as owner of one or more horses, the horse(s) must be transferred into the name of the syndicate/corporation with the following items: 1. A written report of the transfer to the syndicate/corporation name must be completed and signed by the last recorded owner. This transfer must be received by the Association office accompanied by the certificate of registration, the proper transfer fee, and completed official AMHA syndicate/ corporation form to include signatures of all members. Written authorization shall be filed with the Association office (forms available upon request), accompanied by the fee in the fee schedule, appointing the syndicate/ corporation manager and signed by the syndicate/corporation manager. The syndicate/corporation manager(s) will be recognized by AMHA as responsible for signing all documents as a representative of the syndicate/corporation.
