131 AMHA PROPERTY Ownership of any issued AMHA registration certificate remains with the Association. The certificate is issued upon receipt of a written application submitted and attested by the owner at time of foaling with fees paid. The Association has the privilege to correct and/or cancel the certificate for cause under its Rules and Regulations. 131A Refusal to Return No person shall refuse an Association request for the return of a registration certificate, either before, after, or pending Hearing to determine registration or participation privilege in Association’s approved events. The Association shall retain possession of a certificate until resolution of the matter for which the return of the certificate was requested. 133 NON-PAYMENT OF OBLIGATION No member owing in excess of $100 beyond ninety (90) days in arrears may conduct any business with AMHA. This includes registration, showing or any other business within the Association. Anyone submitting a third bad check to the AMHA office will be required to submit an approved credit card, a cashier’s check, or a money order to obtain credit or make payment for the next two (2) years. Any member may be suspended and denied privileges of the Association and any non-member may be denied the privileges of the Association by the President for failure to pay when due any obligation owing to the Association or to any entity or person accepting payment on behalf of an AMHA approved show or for giving a worthless check in exchange for any services performed by the Association or on behalf of any approved AMHA show, i.e., registration, transfer, etc., which shall include giving a worthless check or owing funds to the Miniature Horse World, or for entry fees, stall fees or any other fees or charges connected with the exhibition of horses at any AMHA approved show; provided that fifteen (15) days before action by the President, written notice of the account due and the intention of suspend or withhold privileges of the Association shall be mailed to such member or non-member at said member or non-member last address of record with the Association. And suspension and denial of privileges under this section shall terminate upon full payment of the obligation due the Association. (Amended 12-6-03, effective 01-04) (Amended 02-07, effective 01-08) 41 RULES & REGULATIONS 132 DISRESPECT OF PERSON In the furtherance of their official duties all Association representatives shall be treated with courtesy, cooperation, and respect, and no person shall direct abusive or threatening conduct toward them.
