When the title of “AMHA Youth Champion” is achieved, the youth may request the proper certificate from the AMHA office; after verification, the certificate shall be prepared and forwarded to that youth. Youth Superior Event Horse (Established 1989) This title shall be awarded to any youth provided the youth and his/her horse have earned seventy-five (75) or more points in any one recognized event. When the title “AMHA Youth Superior Event” is achieved, the youth may request the proper certificate from the AMHA office, after verification, the certificate shall be prepared and forwarded to that youth. (Amended 07-13-02, effective 01-03) E. Youth Register of Merit (Established 1989) Merit is to establish a record of performance. 1. Horses are awarded a Register of Merit when they have earned at least twenty (20) points in any one class. 2. For list o f classes eligible for ROM see PA-030-D 1-33. 3. When the title “Youth Register of Merit” is achieved, the youth may request the proper certificate from the AMHA office; after verification, the certificate shall be prepared and forwarded to that youth. Amateur Honor Roll (Established 1998) The amateur and his/her horse in each Amateur class earning the most points during that show year (from January 1 to December 31) will be the years High Point winner for that event and an appropriate trophy or plaque will be awarded. Amateurs and their horses placing second through tenth will receive an appropriate certificate. A minimum of six (6) points must be earned to be eligible for this award and/or certificate. 1.  Honor Roll points for Amateurs shall be divided into levels and heights for junior and senior horses, regardless of class description; i.e., Amateur Junior Mare Level 1 30” & Under, etc. 2. Amateur Regional Honor Roll titles for each of the top ten point earners for each region during a year will be recognized and published in the Miniature Horse World magazine.
